Of Karlsson, Cowen and Wiercioch, which do you see as being the most impact player for the Sens in 3 years? There's seems to be differing sentiment depending on who you ask.

Unfortunately for Wiercioch, it's a little early and he likely will be crushed by the other two - it's not a slight against him.

How many is "a few" years?

1. Karlsson
2. Wiercioch
3. Cowen

I think Wiercioch and Cowen will be about even, but Wiercioch will have a head start.

Odd, I don't think I can really answer this one...I'm excited about all 3 almost equally. I got to actually see Wiericoch in action this summer and he is extremely exciting to me. Very Bouewmeester like, beautiful hands. Karlsson, is pretty obvious, very excited to see him in action.
Cowen is very exciting too, I'll wait 1/2 a season on this guy and see how he does. But, he's very intriguing. There's more on Weiricoch and Karlsson at the moment though.

Alright, after that weird roundabout post of mine, I've decided to vote for Karlsson.

Indeed. They're smooth, creamy, delicate, yet masculine. Mind you, He could have any woman in the world.. but none could match the beauty of his own hand.. And that could be a problem, eventually.

I always go against the grain in these polls.

First I was going to vote Karlsson because we will see him suiting in just a few weeks. But the poll asked about impact in a few/three years. Like SensGirl11 I saw Wiercioch at the DC and he was the most impressive of the three -- of course Cowan was only doing interviews and not skating (except by himself). I'd like to see Karlsson in a game, because it's impossible to see hockey IQ in drills. They were both very good, but Wiercioch has the physical presence as well. So that's why I went with Patrick.

I agree, seeing Wiercioch live was incredible. He blew us out of the water that day. But Cowen...is such a great defender - and Karlsson has something electric that we haven't had since...I guess Joe Corvo.

It's a tough one, I'm still battling with it. Ahhhhh!

At least CheapShots Brennan won't have to constantly put down Karlsson to protect Redden like he did to Corvo and then Meszaros! Ahhhhh! Ahhhhh!

I chose Wiercioch, because I think in 3-4 years were gonna a bit close to Karlsson's potential, whereas in Wiercioch, me may have a Lidstrom in the making, in approx. 6-7 years.

BUt, in reality, I think Cowen is the guy who's gonna be on the ice for that last second of the Stanley Cup final Game 7.

Corvo had great offensive instincts but got beat A LOT. I can fully understand him getting skewered by the press, though I think they went a bit far with the "Uh-Oh" tag.
