Great to talk hockey again instead of the BS that was that idiot lockout.

He's really using his strength again after a tentative year. Give him the rest of this year and I bet he's knocking on the door next season, unless we feel our PK forwards aren't good enough.

He's solid and I've liked him since I got to watch a couple Spartans games on TV. He's done nothing but improve and I would be willing to bet you see him in a Sens uniform at some point this season. He's right there.

He will be a full time NHLer by the end of next year depending on the years a few guys have. Very possible Daugavins walks after this season if he can't be better than he was at the tail end of last year.

Can you imagine if Karlsson gets injured Laugh1 :rp:

We'll bring up Ceci and see if we can get lightning to strike the same place twice. Remember, we are a team in the second year of a rebuild.

The Oilers have been rebuilding ever since their surprising Stanley Cup appearance. The Leafs are in year 8 of a 3-year rebuild.

He's a little ways away IMO. Another year at least.

-Lundin out for 3-4 weeks at l-Thinks Ceci is a longer term project but will look at him at camp.
-Very happy with Bishop and Lehner gonna take a hard look at both of them.

Imagine -- free agents actually calling Ottawa? Must be the power of the 'Stache... Remember him?

I honestly think they go with the kids in Bingo now. They are high on a lot of those kids and I don't see any reason why they wouldn't be getting the shot.

Methot/Karlsson
Weircoich/Gonchar
Phillips/Boroweicki
Benoit

Obviously someone will get sent back once Lundin is back. I think that's how it will shake down and my opinion will change tomorrow.

yeah but what FA? guys that are replaceable from within? it will be interesting to see if they do bring in someone how do they do it. trade might be a better option to get a quality guy.

Apparently defensemen...

Well, maybe giving up the most shots on goal per game in the AHL might sour an NHL coach a bit from bringing them *all* up here.

Yeah, but no offense to Richardson, this is a Jack Adams award nominee here in Ottawa. We'll give up shot, but he'll be running out a decent system.

And Richards is coaching the ASG.

I'm not saying Richardson won't be or isn't an excellent coach, but MacLean's an NHL coach, there's obviously a difference.
