Well, this may be a jynx thread but w/e.

Based on the season in Bingo thus far I think it's pretty safe to make a few assumptions. As it stand the lineup looks like this IMO.

Ladentresse/Spezza/Michalek
Alfi/Turris/Silfverberg
Neil/Smith/Greening
O'Brien/Regin/Condra
Daugavins

Methot/Karlsson
Phillips/Gonchar
Lundin/Benoit
Boroweicki

Anderson
Bishop

Think that's how it will look baring any injuries. First call up for the forwards will more than likely be Stone or Da Costa and on the back end Wiercoich.

If it's a 50-60 game season, not much room for big losing streaks if you want to make the post season.

Pretty experienced lineup though and most of those guys have been playing. Might take time for a guy like Latendresse to get his feet under him though, might have to start on the 3rd or 4th line.

Anderson has only played a few charity games, he's going to get lit up like a Christmas if he's in goal, at least the beginning. We could see Bishop playing more.

Alfie hasn't played much at all, I wonder how ready he is.

Bishop will get a lot of starts early on in the season, maybe even opening night.

I think Anderson plays opening night to the tune of 99.9% sure of it.

Yup, doesn't mean Ottawa shouldn't get a leg up on everyone. A quick start will mean everything this year.

I was thinking the same thing. Anderson has spent most of his time in Florida during the lockout. How much 'ice time' was he getting down there? Not much IMO.

Bishop.. he has been better lately in Bingo... but not as good as last season.

IF this does start up... 3 key cogs in the Sens lineup have been playing in Europe... Karlsson, Spezza & Turris... Add to that Michalek & Gonchar..

The loss of Cowen is going to hurt....

Off topic... and in hindsight... (not to trash on Zibanejad) but should the Sens have drafted Dougie Hamilton? Could you see a defense in the future of Karlsson, D Hamilton & Cowen?

If they knew they were going to trade Rundblad they would have picked Hamilton.

Yes, they should have drafted Hamilton.

Next step: acquire a D-man I think. Not sure Boro can replace Cowen's minutes. Actually I'm pretty sure.

Hard to replace Cowen's minutes from the penalty box.

We'll see but I'm not a big fan of Hamilton. Overrated offensively in my opinion, not very quick in decision making.

No what they should have done is play McElhinney more. The drop off IMO was after the top 4.

Mind you Lundin, Boroweicki is a decent bottom pairing on paper, maybe it works. I guess Methot would replace Cowen in theory.

I prefer what happened. I felt as if we finally cut some stagnant pieces and replaced them with a whole bunch of great, young players.

I like what I've seen of Zibanejad this year, so no offense to the pick, but I've always wondered what Hamilton and Cowen would be like.
