Spezza and Michalek need to be better though, that's for sure. IMO, Ottawa is the better team and I actually mean that. NYR just has the best goaltender on the planet and that could be the difference, it wouldn't be the first time a world class goalie wins a series. Either way, the future is bright for Ottawa and this playoff series is just adding to what will be a dominate team in the years to come.

I agree with this. They were so close last game a number of times. They outchanced, outplayed, and outshot the Rangers. They can win this, they just need Lundqvist to stop being such a jerk.

Someone might have to run over Lundqvist tonight.

I'm a little nervous to tell the truth. Sure, we outplayed them in every stat known -- hits, shots, faceoffs, offensive zone faceoffs, time of possession. But at the end of the day we lost the game.

How many times have we seen the Sens make a backup look like a Vezina finalist? Sure, Lundqvist made great saves and lots of them, but how many other opportunities were wasted by shooting right at someone's shins, missing the net, flubbing on the shot and missing the puck or just plain shooting from the perimeter with no-one in front? I want to see some more hitting in the offensive zone -- crash your way through to the crease. Clear a shooting lane for Karlsson. Find out how much you can get away with and then get away with it.

So, yes, I'm kinda nervous. Would be nice to score a couple quick ones.

Sens need to score first. No question. If Anderson plays like he did last game, Sens can win the game. Just need to solve Lundqvist.
