If they lose tonight, I'm inclined to believe the series is probably over....even if they can manage to win game 5, game 6 is back on home ice. That's the main reason they lost against the pens in 2010 (can't shake those game 6 memories)

We will definitely lose the series if we lose tonight. There will be no winning 3 games in a row against this stingy team, it's just not gonna happen. Period. + I don't think Andy can string together 3 straight perfect performances for us to take it. He's good, but he's not that good. He's certainly not better than Lundqvist.

It's not the end of the world if we lose tonight, but why are we talking about that scenario? There is every reason to believe we can win tonight - we've been the better team for the majority of this series. was great last game, and the Rags only goal was a lucky bounce and some bad coverage. We had a few great chances on Lundqvist last game, and a variety of ridiculous shot blocks and saves kept the puck out of their net. The reason we play a 7 game series is to allow the BETTER team every opportunity to come out on top.
Go Sens Go!

Spezza and Michalek need to be better though, that's for sure. IMO, Ottawa is the better team and I actually mean that. NYR just has the best goaltender on the planet and that could be the difference, it wouldn't be the first time a world class goalie wins a series. Either way, the future is bright for Ottawa and this playoff series is just adding to what will be a dominate team in the years to come.

PMac is playing his cards tight.

I agree with this. They were so close last game a number of times. They outchanced, outplayed, and outshot the Rangers. They can win this, they just need Lundqvist to stop being such a jerk.NEELY wrote:Sens can beat the Rangers. Literally this series (aside from game 1) has come down to bounces.
