Stefan G:son ‏ @steffeG

Brynäs holds on for 1-0 lead. Silfver+Järnkrok pointless again. Brynäs have a chance to sweep at home tomorrow, make Silfver available gm 4.

Game 4 goes tomorrow. If they win, they could have the parade as early as Monday/Tuesday and he could be available for game 4 on Wednesday. Hope they hold the parade early Smile

Mendes: MacLean says he does not anticipate any lineup changes for Game 2. No Carkner tonight.

Serious question: what are people expecting from Silf? I see all these posts about how soon he can get over here. Are you guys thinking he'll walk in and light it up and be our saviour? Or do you just want to see him play?

At camp all the Murrays thought he was NHL-ready. Since then he won the SEL MVP and is about to win the Playoff MVP while leading his team to a possible sweep in the Finals. In other words he has done *nothing* to weaken the training camp argument of being NHL ready. He plays left wing. We have Colin Greening playing left wing on the top line. Clearly we have some depth issues in the top-six, especially on the left.

I'm not suggesting he replaces Greening, not at all. I *am* suggesting though that he could get a game on the third line to see how thing progress. If he plays well enough to warrant it, maybe move him up.

I'm 100% certain he can (and will) replace one of the top sixers next year. Greening, Foligno, someone move please.

Forberg compares his NHL shot to Stamkos, says he will be a superstar. Natural LW, Spezza's left hand man? Dare to dream....

Alan Walsh is mad at Brennan for this article:

I find it just fine, where is Michalek? Because we need him.

As much as I wanted to hate it, it brought back memories of reading "Are you my mother?" to my kids.

It's been one game, and 5 of the top-six players have not scored a goal. He really should leave the regular season out of this because, you know, we're playing one of the top two teams in the league with, arguably, the top goalie.

He's a scoring threat... something the Sens need. Nobody on the Rangers will probably know who he is... He will need a couple of practices at any rate even before playing... Sens need to win tonight to push the series to at least 5 or 6 games...

I can't speak for others, but I'm expecting him to join the team as the #1 forward and dominate. He should be able to steal a few games on his own. Expect 12-15 points for his first few games. I'm betting big money that he gets the rare double hattrick in his first game.
