I understood what each number represented. I'm questioning your numbers.

he's saying 1 million per year. Like Auld is getting.

Exactly. 3 years x 1 mil I guess, my bad.

That will be the going rate for Carkner, probably more like 1.5-2 mil if he leaves Ottawa.

Ah. Someone needs to review his early grade math. The "x" symbol is a multiplier, not to be confused with an "=" symbol, which (in this case) represents a product. Sarcasm

Ya, $1x3 would be perfect.

I was confused too; I thought 3 years, 3 million per. I thought that was "a bit" high. I have no problem with 3 Y, 3 or even 4 M

Yeah, I'd sign Carkner and Konopka ASAP. Both have shown the ability to rise up and be useful pieces in the post season.

At 3 years, I would imagine you can get him for slightly under that, but I wouldn't be upset in the least to see a 3 year, 3 million dollar deal.

I didn't even notice Winchester got hurt.

I think at this point you know and see what Carkner and Konopka bring, both regular season and playoffs. These are guys you need around for the grind and guy that will do anything for every single guy in that room.

I wouldn't give Konopka more than a 1 year deal at this point but he deserves another year in Ottawa.

Ya. UBI. I didn't see it happen, though. I'm not sure what happened. Anyone catch it?

I swear to god, I always come close to tearing up when I see Alfie scoring that goal against Buffalo; the one that sent us to the finals!

I think O'Brien gets a shot on RW next game - in the top six. I really do.

He has his role, he does it well, you let him do it.

The lines were fine tonight but you just hope Spezza somehow breaks out for just ONE game, that's all they need from Spezza at this point. One game.

Definitely. And he has nice speed, a good, solid frame and a decent set of hands to boot.

He seems to have gotten better throughout the season. He's another guy that will benefit from a full camp and a full year with the team.
