Now I have to get caught up because the TV was on pause for so long.

Fast-forwarding commercials is always fun, but don't spoil anything for me until I go live again in about 10 minutes.

Haha.

It's Dreger though, but neat nevertheless.

Why do you keep saying that? What's wrong with Dreger?

I find his articles on hockey to be fine, but his rumours to be very Eklund-ish. When a trade actually goes down in his backyard, he gives zero indications that is was gonna happen (Beauchemin to Anaheim) to name just one recently. Actually, the more I read about his rumours, the more his % for getting anything anywhere near accurate is *lower* than Eklund's.

I am live again because I just fast-fowarded through Pierre McGuire's intermission report.

Did you take any Gravol after watching him bounce around at high speed?

That's how I see it. I paused it as soon as I saw hands going up, and the only ones reaching for the straps were Lupul.

I can't see what all the fuss is about, PK did nothing wrong IMO. They were both reaching for straps and all of the sudden they were withing punching range of each other. PK was the first to get off; good for him for having the hand speed to react first.

I like everything about the kid.

He is even irritating in fast-forward mode.

But, that reminds me.

About 3 or 4 days ago, I recall reading something on here as I was leaving the house that I wanted to respond to; now I can't find it.

Someone (maybe Wprager?) was asking for my opinion on the young kids in the NHL these days as compared to 10-20 years ago.

Does anyone know where that was?

That is funny because I was going to say that I don't believe it was sincere by Gill; hence my "meh" comment.

Subban ans Gill are partners and they play well together. Gill knows the rep that Subban has - the media is eating it up - and he just played them for the fools that they are.

If anything, it shows that Subban is doing the right things inside the Canadiens room with teammates and an the ice against opponents.

Although I post a lot, it's still not more than a doze or so per day, so finding a recent post is quite easy (it was on the 2nd page of the list of my posts, and all I had to do is search the page for "Gill").

So it's a joke and that's that? Are we sure the "joke" part wasn't damage control?
