I'm actually a huge Weiss fan. FLA better get a ton back in this deal, IMO he's one of the only bright spots for Florida. I'm predicting a 1st and a solid prospect in return, maybe a roster player.

And yeah, that's a nice pickup my the Canes. Can't see Stillman costing them too much.

Who've they had in the past few years? starting back with Khabibulin, they have had (in no real particular order):

Dwayne Roloson, Dan Ellis, Mike Smith, Antero Nittymaki, Karri Ramo, Johan Holmqvist, Tokarski, Helenius, Janus, Kolzig,
Denis, plus a whole lot of other call ups to serve as backup and possibly starters.

The gotta either tank big time, or make it to the 2nd round....I'm kinda hoping for the tank route, so we get another high 1st rounder.

If The Preds miss the playoffs, that Fisher trade looks beyond great. There is so much you can do with that pick if it's in the 12-14 range. Trade up, trade down, get the player they truly want. Could very well grab a Carter/Richards or Getzlaf/Perry in 2011 if everyone has done their job.

The 2nd to 3rd rounders you can really afford to swing for the fences as well. Next year's camp is going to be crazy in terms of competition and youth.
