Vorachek + though, right? Bogosian straight up might work - nice player to have, already developing in the NHL, loads of potential. I'd probably do it - especially with the Leafs recent winning trend.

Kelly would be fine. We have all summer to worry about that anyway. We also have the whole rest of the season to audition Regin in that spot too.

Me too. Fisher would be nice for Nashville to have going into the playoffs, Wilson hasn't really been there and he'll be nervous and likely much less effective, so in terms of the playoffs, I could see Nashville really wanting Fisher. But to get Wilson, we'd have to add substantially IMO. Probably Wiercioch + + .

EDIT: And I would add for Wilson. He's everything we want over here- hard worker, big boy, hard-nosed, aggressive and he has talent. Bring it on!

I'd go for it. He started slow in the scoring department, but lately he's really been starting to ramp it up as well. He'd be a great piece to add. I'll stop talking about it now though, I don't like getting my hopes up

Kelly would be fine. We have all summer to worry about that anyway. We also have the whole rest of the season to audition Regin in that spot too.

Exactly. Regin is far from a write off and we don't want to improve for the immediate future.

Any team going into, or looking to get into, the playoffs isn't going to give up a piece who's playing & contributing now, especially not a guy playing in a team's top 6. Forget about that kind of addition, at least until the draft / UFA period / summer.

At the deadline, our returns will consistently entirely of the picks / prospects / (expiring) contract dumps, that's it. Unless we swing a trade with a non-contender, for some reason.

I agree, but in this specific instance, the piece going back to Nashville would be considered by some an 'upgrade' over C.Wilson - as difficult as that is for me to say with a straight face. So if the Preds got Fisher + prospect + perhaps Ruutu or someone like that, maybe it works. Doubtful though.
