Hmmm...I guess that's possible, but why wouldn't Dallas bite the bullet and sign Richards? They've got an excellent team, why mess with it?

My understanding was that they were looking to trim salary elsewhere in the lineup to keep Richards as well. That might all be bul**it too with the real intent just trimming salary period.

Huh...could be. I could see them trying to trade Rat Face Ribiero before anything else, but if they're having that much money problems, I pray that we're on hand to relieve them of Robidas.

Toronto would actually be pretty smart to try and get Ribeiro out of Dallas. I think they're under the illusion that Richards will land on their laps somehow. Perhaps if they had the very pick that Boston is apparently considering moving...

Edit : that may look like we're overpaying a little but we`re rebuilding. We're only giving up a 2nd, a prospect, a rental and a heavy contract.
