Bingo.

Bingo.

Interesting, I wasn't even thinking of that.

Really though, I'm surprised he's even still coach.

Yeah, I think a lot of people are today. Including Campoli and Neil I guess, who fought for nothing.

Actually, to expand a little on that, a call in listener actually asked McGuire about the Lehner callup this morning. I fully expected him to either flat-out say it was a bad idea, or at least to say it's *usually* not a good idea but every situation is different, and the people making the decision are a lot more aware of the situation and the people involved, blah-blah-blah. Instead he said this is a bit of an audition for next year -- they want to know what they have. Then he brought up Reimer and said Toronto is auditioning him for next year.

Now, on the other hand, maybe the Lehner decision was heavily influenced by Melnyk's desire to generate some ticket sales, and perhaps Pierre himself was auditioning, if you get my drift.

I think Lehner is the type that will want to come in and attempt to win games on his own. Just a guess. I'm not worried, he'll be in to prove that he can make saves in the NHL, win or lose.

Not an indictment of Clouston but certainly we'd be looking at a different team right now, IMO. Look no further than Drury on the 4th line/faceoff specialist for evidence of The Fonz's brass-ballery.

Who's that portly fellow in your avatar? I've been meaning to ask for ages.

"Hoss" from "Bonanza". I think he first dragged him out when he was on the "Bring Hossa back" bandwagon. Not sure why, now.

He did the same thing Reimer is doing now.

Flash in the pan and he's taking advantage. So what? Gotta think long term asset management.

You've already reached the pinnacle of GMHockey success. You can't get a higher designation than SIR Montagoose.
