With the way the guys play in front of him... he's pretty much gonna have to.

It'll be a shortie.

Just got back from my kid's game. He had two tournament games yesterday, another one today, then the regular season game we couldn't reschedule. Semis for the tournament tomorrow morning and if win we're in the finals later on. That could be 6 games in 3 days.

Elliott was very sharp as practice wore on, but a little rusty in the early goings. I guess that's to be expected since he hadn't played since the Oilers game.

GO SENS GO!!!

Is that what they call it now? Sarcasm

Spezza's the only guy that looks to be trying. Gonchar not paying any attention out there, then Spezza busts his arse back to try and catch Grier while Gonchar coasts.

Sens should just start declining powerplays, all they do is lead to odd man rushes

Laughing3 that would be funny... "No thanks, we're good. We'll just take a re-do from the blue line"

I forget what our goal horn sounds like...

Hey, could be worse... Pittsburgh up 4-0 already over Blue Jackets and only in the 1st.

And B-Sens are down 1-0.

So, Spezza's now been tossed from the faceoff twice.... weird.

I'm not watching the game, but does it look anything like this?

Not quite, but he decided that he didn't feel like skating down the ice and thought he would hang back at the blue line.

which is happening far too often lately

edit; i see the sens start the 2nd with a pp, watch for the sabres to pressure the point and get another breakaway or 2 on 1

tell you what, this is a REAL team that works through it's difficulties and gives it their all 9 times out 10. I don't care for Sid, but you can't fault the kid's work ethic - and it seems to be contagious......

That team is something else right now. They're dominating without a great player in Staal and a Malkin who has not been 100% all year.

and Crosby just scored again...I am watching that game, I can't watch the Sens game anymore. Both teams are uber boring at the moment.

Big reason though is having 4 top 2 picks in the line-up. Major reason that that team is where it is. Same with Chicago.

If Ottawa had the fortune of being able to draft a few young franchise players, then they would be a different team too. Edmonton is on its way there.
