Have you seen Ottawa play in the third period with a lead? Talk about taking the foot off the gas.

Looks like Gerber to start... Hemsky unlikely to play...

And Cap'n - the Sens can't afford to be taking anyone lightly. 11-13 and out of a playoff spot... we got work to do.

It's been Elliotts team ever since Leclaire got injured this season. Clouston has made that abundantly clear.

Gerber has a 3-3-0 lifetime record vs. the Senators and .922 save-percentage.

I remember dreading Carolina games when he was in net there.

Up until very recently they hadn't lost a lead in the third. I think now they are either 8-1 or 8-2 in games they lead heading into the third.

He needs to get his mojo going... the Sens have to get scoring more. No if's, and's or but's about it.

Foligno and Regin need to start finding the back of the net and soon if the Sens hope to get above 500 and compete for a playoff spot this season.

Ya, me too. He was virtually indestructible when he played for Carolina. We always had trouble with him. Of course, a lot changes in 5 years.

Agreed. The scoring needs to start coming more regularly. 57 goals for so far... 22nd overall.
