It's OK, Lehner is getting valuable experience in the NHL.
Last year it was our starter getting injured, this year it's our backup.

It's that, but there are other contributing factors to these losses that could easily be avoided.
PP QB:
As much as we all will continue to support Patrick Wiercioch, he needs a lot more work to be the/a PP QB in the pros. His game has come a long way apparently, but he's not commanding the point the way Benoit and D.Smith did last year - and that's making the PP weaker by the minute. Craig Schira hasn't been able to ramp his game up yet either and that's hurting a lot. KK will let Hoffman man the point from time to time, but what he really wants is a steady PP tandem like he had last year. Unfortunately, that nerd who retired after he signed Sweatt, was never replaced, so we're down there without the QB that we thought we'd have. Tim Murray needs to get on that IMO. You talk to B-Sens fans and they all say the same thing - get a PP QB. There are tons out there, go and sign one. This also hurts the forwards in a ripple effect. A lot of these guys are young obviously, so when they don't cash in on the PP it can affect their confidence for that game and then their stat lines go down and it affects their overall confidence.
Did we replace Keller, Greening, Condra?
Sort of. We got Parrish to replace Keller, Dziurzynski will effectively replace Greening - although he only has 2 points in 10 games and who replaces Condra? I guess Derek Grant, but he's not scoring at quite the same clip. So offense is down as well, there are some holes coming up that have to be filled internally, but are causing issues.
Barry Brust to Mike McKenna
No offense to Mike, but Brust was the reason the B-Sens even made the playoffs and is twice the pro goalie McKenna is. Then Lehner took the reigns in the post-season. If Lehner is to be called up to Ottawa for injuries, the B-Sens are using little known G Brian Stewart, who is an ECHL stud, but has only 13 AHL games experience - all of them under .900.

For sure it requires patience, but that's not the bottom line in this specific instance. We need to sign a puck mover/PP QB pretty much immediately. The rest of it can fall into line, the goaltending is what it is, the forwards will have to fend for themselves, but not having a veteran there to man the point is starting to take its toll.

What do you say to the Sens fans who couldn't care less about how the Binghamton Senators do this year?

Nothing much. If you can't realize the importance of the AHL affiliate doing well and for these kids to learn in a positive, winning environment, then what should I say?
Not sure how you can't see KK's fingerprints all over the current edition of the Sens, also not sure why you wouldn't want Grant, Wiercioch, Filatov, Hoffman, Cannone, Petersson, O'Brien, Gryba, Lehner, Borowiecki etc. to win, but hey, that's your choice.

What they really should do, too, is get that Joy lady who covers the B-Sens on their programs a couple times a week…whether it's on TGOR, or Healthy Scratches, it would be a great segment. She is very knowledgeable, and does a great job (follow her on Twitter, you get all the B-Sens news you can handle, including all the info from the games).
