They looked like the didn't play with any urgency last night.

Shuffling of the lines didn't help either...

It's only 10 games in... still early. They are at .500. Not bad for a young team (near the youngest in the AHL) plus a rookie coach and a new system..

It may be "still early" but it's never too early for excuses in Sens land. Laugh1 Laughing3

I'm surprised wprager hasn't blamed the refs. Wink

Why would I blame the refs? I haven't seen a game yet.

Big Ev wrote:Awww yeah Zibanejad scored yesterday. A shootout goal!

5th youngest player in the league, remember (for the haters).

Zibanejad: 93-04-18 (3 pts in 10 games)
Brodin: 93-07-12 (4 in 8)
Pearson: 93-08-10 (3 in 9)
Girgensons: 94-01-05 (4 in 10)
Lindholm: 94-01-20 (3 in 9)

Doesn't look like he's all that far from what others are doing. Of course Z-bad started on the top line, so .... then, again, the whole team sucks when it comes to scoring, so ...

Lindhom and Brodin are defensemen and the others are not expected to have a top 6 role in the NHL. I am not alarmed by any stretch, but 0 goals in 20 ish pro games is not really exciting.
Anyhow, Zibby is the least of my worries, he'll be good I have no doubt but will probably take a few years.
Not impressed with Richardson yet. They shoot too much (as wierd as that sounds) from all over the place. Hard to get some offensive pressure in that kind of style.

His NHL games shouldn't really count.

I realy wish i could watch some these Bingo AHL games on my TV. get a better idea of some of the progress being made. it's too bad too cuz I can watch 2 bulldogs games in Montreal on my TV. At least it's funny watching the habs prospects get taken down. like right now 4-1 for syracuse.

Bulldogs game can get a few hundred thousands viewers.
A bingo game would at most get 10,000, on a good night.
Plus Quebecor is mafia Sarcasm

They (Bulldogs) drew 18,562 for a game at the Bell Centre last night. Wow. And Blake Geoffrion got hurt pretty bad. Legal hit, but he hit the other player's skate on the way down. Lots of blood, and the after the game they sad he was having surgery on his head (although his injuries were not considered life-threatening).

Apparently Geoffrion has a compression fracture of his skull. Yikes! So what's the surgery like -- put a screw in and pull the dent out?

Petersson from Zibanejad and Silfverberg makes it 2-0 B-Sens. A PP goal after Cowick put them ahead 1-0 early in the first.

4-2. Benoit from Cowick and Silfverberg, then a shortie from Grant. B-Sens lead the AHL with 5 short-handed goals. I guess they take a lot of penalties.
