Who is The Hockey Fanatic? They don't seem to realize that Norfolk is a completely different team (literally) this year.
anyways, most AHL teams are pretty similar this year. Binghamton should be a good team if the lockout lasts a while. They will remain competitive even after that due to their goaltending and forwards.

Who hypes Claesson, exactly? And don't say that fool who thinks he is on Klefbom's level
Big Ev wrote:I somewhat agree, although I don't think getting a Mike Lundin type d-man is that much of a steal. Claesson may see some NHL time one day, but really just a fringe bottom pairing defensive d-man.
Anyway, anyone catching tonight's game? I predict a goal from Zibanejad.

Is there a stream?
wprager wrote:Flo The Action wrote:what site are you guys streaming your AHL games from?
There's a guy on ustream that goes by bsenshockey: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/bsenshockeylive
He wasn't streaming the season opener, though. Maybe he was at the game.

How about we let them play some NHL games before we say they will make it or not.
I remember some saying Lundin played pretty well in Tampa's run to the conference finals a couple of seasons ago.
I just hope going to Bingo this weekend and IF the CBA is settled that Cowen & Silfverberg are still there.. I would assume training camps would begin next week... IF this is a done deal...
