Have we tried Hoffman on a line with Zibanejad btw?
Hoffman, Zibanejad, Stone
2 playmakers

It's as good an excuse as any.

"poise with the puck" -- you've mentioned it twice now, what do you mean, exactly?

It means that when he has the puck, he's very poised and shows a high degree of poise.

So why didn't he just say that?

Simple, "poise with the puck" uses less letters and is quicker to type...

Meh, he won't coach like he played or else everyone would be boring and wouldn't score at all Laugh1. Also, the assistant coaches and other guys probably talk to the forwards more anyway.

That's why these players will be better under MacLean anyway.

Keep the puck a little longer and wait for some opportunities instead of dumbly shooting from an impossible angle?

Zibanejad with his first pro goal (not counting that pre-season winner). Floodgates about to open?

Claesson and Prince with their first goals, after Zibanejad and Stone got their first last night. Someone call "Snowball!"?

Claesson's goal changed to assist; goal goes to Grant.

The AHL is the worst league for determining who scored, they thought it was Eckford for a while.

3-2 Sens win. Lehner with 50 something saves, not sure the exact number yet.

Grant's second of the night -- a shortie, the team's league-leading 6th -- is the winner.

Hoffman-Zibanejad-Petersson were awesome.

Zibanejad is gonna be a dominant player down there very soon. Already solid playing in all situations, #1 line, #1 PK and #1 PP.

And yet someone asked, on twitter, who had looked better between Zibanejad and Couturier, and the answer was Couturier.

Where did you watch the game, BTW? My kid checked the guide and it said Marlies on SNet. Did they show the B-Sens?
