In case it wasn't obvious, "Cohen" is how the Rochester PA guy pronounced Cowen's name.

That's because a) one of them had to play on the left, since both Cowen and PW are lefties, and b) lefties play the right side on the PP all the time, for the one-timers

Powerplay wasn't going well, but about 40 seconds in they finally managed to set up in the offensive zone and move the puck pretty well. Patty wired it with Huge Specimen blocking out the sun in front of the goalie.

I know, I know. It's just my pet peeve going back to Clouston's last season here.

The B-Sens would be leading by a lot more had they not faced a hot goalie. Reminds me of the real Sens.

Won't be long. Watching him, it kind of reminds me of how EK couldn't buy a goal at the beginning of the season last year. He's clearly doing everything right, he'll start potting them soon.

Six I think. 3 penalties.

Honestly, I think there might be TOO much talent. They have to roll lines pretty equally, it seems, so your top players aren't really playing as much as they should. I think this wouldn't be all that beneficial in a full locked out season, but luckily it doesn't look like it will get to that.

Interesting point.

Good game, but way too many penalties. PK was 8 for 7 (7 for 7 plus a shortie).

Lehner is #1 star. 2 games, 2 first stars. Good start.

Was Rochester supposed to be going anywhere? I recognized a few names, but not really that many. Foligno. I see Hodgson on their roster, but don't recall his name being called.

I heard his name a couple of times. Who's Porter? He seemed to be buzzing around the net a lot.

Yep, was gonna say the same thing. Grant will be the breakout player of the season IMO - only if the lockout ends though, otherwise his top 6 role is a third line role with less PP time and scoring chances - and most importantly, less ice time.

Hodgson and Adam are supposed to be good but I guess they haven't woken up yet. Corey Tropp is good too but had a season ending injury last game. TJ Brennan isnt too shabby on defense.

We should be paying close watch to 3 of these guys actually.

Pat Cannone - 43 points in his first pro season in Bingo, immediately making himself noticeable this year. Not huge, but a heart and soul guy with some offence.

David Dziurzynski - 6'3", 205 - great grinder with a little bit of untapped skill - perhaps another Zack Smith

Derek Grant - had a pretty poor year offensively, but this is my pick as the most improved player in Bingo this year.
