Benoit is the shiznit. Also, I have a hankering for some Red Robin Gourmet Burgers.

Haha. That ad/contest was pretty weird.

Had a great time in Binghamton this weekend. Meet some really nice people -- and saw two hockey games. Disappointed somewhat in Friday's game.. but that goalie fight last night was worth the price of admission. The game up until Lawson came in was awesome...

I found Syracuse to be a pretty dirty team. Something happened in that pile on a Lehner save (it was right in front of us) -- he came up with a couple of swings. It was the Syracuse goalie who skated done the ice at Lehner.

Today's game is only the about the 6th game of the season for a young team learning a new system -- so it will take some time.

But agree on Silfverberg... he's not really standing out. Zibby is doing well. But the absolute favourite for the B-Sens fans is Borowiecki... they just love that kid. He is playing really well....

Met Mark Stone's mom while walking to the hotel on Friday..

Saw Paul McLean and Tim Murray at the game last night.

Some fans were saying that Jared Cowen has a muscle pull.

Bishop looked okay at the restaurant this morning.. he was there with Caporusso..

All in all a fun weekend... loved the meal at Remliks and Boscov's -- what can I say...

BSens win! Weird bounce and they take the game. I missed the shot, and they aren't showing a replay, but there was a long review and they were awarded the win. We'll take it.

EDIT: Lehner was second star. Has he had a game yet where he wasn't one of the stars of the game?

Sweet. I stepped away from the comp for a second and missed it. No replay (that I saw). Benoit had a good game. These guys are solid.

Sounds like an awesome time. Didn't realize it'd be so easy to see management in Binghamton (makes sense though!). It's a gold mine now especially to meet all the future superstars. Too bad they didn't win either of those games (especially yesterday's debacle).

On another note, I'm pissed we haven't gotten any Bsens HD games covered here in Ottawa. In fact, why isn't Sportsnet Sens broadcasting the AHL games as is?

There's a lot of factors at play. They just can't broadcast whatever they want. Sportsnet has only aired Canadian AHL games so far.

Has a lot of things to learn when it comes to emotion control. Lots of dumb penalties and fights at the wrong time.
If he played in the NHL like last night he would be sent back immediately.

Yeah, Richardson will teach him I think. Might be a really good thing that he's getting some time under him.

The ones they lost. Can't blame him for last night. He has a 5-0 lead and another game to play the next day. Hell, why not have a fight. Too bad Lawson wasn't ready (or maybe it was the rest of the team).

And, yeah, Lehner is Lehnsational.

Zibanejad seems to have a release quite similar to Heatley's. No idea if it'll translate the same way, but when he has a chance to take one timers, he appears to like going down to one knee and putting his whole mass behind it. Maybe a little like OV as well.
