Defensemen Danny New and Chris Wideman, and forward Brad Peltz have been assigned to the B-Sens’ ECHL affiliate Elmira Jackals. Goaltender Scott Greenham has been released from his tryout agreement and will join the Bakersfield Condors of the ECHL.

Maybe, but I think you'll see Elmira benefit before any trades are made, especially in a lockout. Depth, depth, depth. Never a bad thing.

Petersson got the 5th goal and Stone got the 6th into an empty net.

Nice goal by Stone... they were shorthanded.. It blocked the shot at the blueline and then went the other way with the puck. Beauty.

B-Sens went 3-0 in the pre-season. Should be a good team when their injured players are back. When watching the stream tonight.. someone in the blog comments mentioned Silverberg has a groin injury. I hope it's not serious as I'm looking forward to seeing him in person in 2 weeks in Bingo...

Silfverberg's injury is minor, just a tweak.

Stone on a breakaway? I thought he couldn't skate? And he's playing on the PK, too?

Stone's goal was an empty netter, scored from behind the red line. No breakaway.

He's going back as an over-age player. He was able to try out for the AHL because he is 20 but he is also able to play one more year in the CHL. A team is only allowed a certain number of over age players in the CHL, either 2 or 3.
