That sucks. It's all about next year I suppose....they went downhill since daugavins was called up

Nah, they've been bottom of their division for most of the season (I think they were 2nd last only briefly, when McKenna went on a bit of a streak). What's troubling is that Lehner is not getting a lot of starts (was injured for a while, then McKenna went on his streak, then he got suspended), and every time he gets one, recently, they end up losing.

A lot of it is circumstantial (horrible D, injury and suspension and McKenna not letting him get a bunch of starts in a row) but he is not getting the experience he needs. Would he be better off backing up in the NHL or hoping, yet again, for a full year of being the #1 starter in the AHL?

It's also good for every human being on earth to get a promotion and to this point, he's earned it. He's a better goaltender than Auld and could very well be the Sens future. He needs to be in Ottawa in short order.

So..he has worse stats than McKenna across the board with only 6 wins on the season, and he was suspended less than a month ago for assaulting a ref and you..want to reward...him. ? :crossarms:

He was the playoff MVP and was a huge part of the reason they won the Calder Cup. He also was very good in his only game at the NHL level this year. I'd like Anderson to get a few breaks down the stretch, but because of all the games-in-hand I'm not sure when we will be comfortable enough to play Auld.

I'm having a twitter-sation with Joy Lindsay about the future of the Sens in B-town. She's suggesting that, while no one wants to talk about the lack of a renewal so far, the Sens don't have anywhere else to go and will likely remain in Binghamton.

How does she know that?... But I think the main reason the Sens would leave is to get closer to Ottawa -- makes recalls a lot easier.... Is there anywhere near Eastern Ontario they could go ie -- outside of the US?

What's this about Matt Puempel apparently being symptom free of his concussion and reporting to Bingo for the rest of the year? Whacky stuff...

Not that wacky - happens sometimes. Toffoli did the same thing last year.

Why is this happening though? Shouldn't he be back playing with the Petes?

OHL season's over, man. Petes are not going to the playoffs (played their final game today).

Oh, that makes a lot more sense then. So...he can go for the final 10 games of Bingo's schedule, but he can't play there next year - is that how it goes?

Well there's nowhere else he can play right now so it's allowed I guess. I doubt he would sign an ATO since he is already signed to a real contract.

So, Locke's gonzo:

Big loss for the Binghamton Senators was announced this morning as centre Corey Locke has signed an agreement to play in Finland next season. Locke was an impact player for the BSens and his contributions will be sorely missed. Locke played a huge part in Binghamton’s Calder Cup Run.

That's fine, it's time for Da Costa and Zibanejad to run that show. Plus, Hoffman had a really solid year last year in Bingo, I'd like to see if he can build on that.

Also, we need to acquire a veteran or two, so we'll see where that lands us.

I did a lineup somewhere in these threads...I have to go buy diapers, so I'll have time to think about it. :crossarms:

You're missing Kramer and Culek. I would imagine Kramer will start in the AHL, while Culek may start in the ECHL. I would also imagine that Cowick will start in the ECHL again, as will Caporusso.
