Nah, they've been bottom of their division for most of the season (I think they were 2nd last only briefly, when McKenna went on a bit of a streak). What's troubling is that Lehner is not getting a lot of starts (was injured for a while, then McKenna went on his streak, then he got suspended), and every time he gets one, recently, they end up losing.
A lot of it is circumstantial (horrible D, injury and suspension and McKenna not letting him get a bunch of starts in a row) but he is not getting the experience he needs. Would he be better off backing up in the NHL or hoping, yet again, for a full year of being the #1 starter in the AHL?
