Thank NYR, they manage to screw up the un-screw up-able... Diddle it, that works. People complain about Murray, haha, WOW, he has nothing on Sather.
Sather and his scouting staff of monkeys. They most know something HUGE about this guy and didn't want to miss out on him, what can you say. It's a head scratcher, but they must feel comfortable.

Have you seen who NYR has drafted in the last 10 years?

Again, I think you underestimate how good Cowen is, I really do.
Or you don't like him maybe?
N4L wrote:If Cowen turns into 1/2 of what he could be, he's a top 4 D man. There is no pressure on Cowen to get to The NHL at a pace he or The Sens are not comfortable with and they could mold him into a primier shutdown D man on a blueline that might be the best in The NHL for a loooooooooong time.
Big Ev wrote:I like him, never said I didn't. But with trading for Rundblad now, our D is even more solid but we are still missing that great forward prospect...with Cowen out and MPS in, I think it doesn't hurt the D too much and our forward depth is better.
