i cannot guarentee but i am pretty sure if someone did pick him up they would not be allowed to use him in the playoffs so i would expect no problems so if i am correct either he passes through and we have a hard worker for the playoffs or he gets taken in which case we lose his contract from our books either way it is a good sign

I don't know if anyone saw the Citizen's James Gordon and Ken Warren do a live Q&A on their site, but Gordon produced a pretty incredible stat:

Brian Elliott's save percentage on the penalty kill this year was .966.

That sounds absolutely ridiculous to me. I don't know where he got that stat from, but it would be interesting to see how Elliott's PK sv% stacks up against other goaltenders in the league this year.

I don't think there's a clear advantage between Smith, Foligno and Winchester and McAmmond, Eaves and Schubert. I think it might even lean towards the Foligno line personally.

Why isn't Cheechoo playing with Foligno - with Winchester or Smith centering them? No offense to them, but I'd rather have Cheechoo out there.

Winchester may not be as offensive as smith but he plays a much more aggressive and physical game,
