It's been said a million times before: Ottawa is a game-day, walk-up sales type of town.
This is also the time of year when sports-minded parents are a bit cash-strapped, having shelled out hundreds of dollars registering their kids into various sports.
Sports and day camps. 10 weeks, minus 2 weeks we can take as vacation, that's 8 weeks of day camps. 4 kids, at a minimum of $200 per week -- that's over $6K extra on the line of credit.
