According to various sources we're set at that position.

Looking at next year's cap, it would appear to be either Kelly or Cullen but not both.Phoenix30 wrote:I like the deals but I hope murray is able to resign at least one of them to a 1 year extension at a little less.

Im not sure... I dont think Cullen will sign for more then he is making right now, if you could get him under contract for 3 years, 6 mil, I would def say do it. That's a legit top 9 guy who makes any team better. Dont think it will come down to a choice.
Not sure who will get pushed out of the lineup next year because I think Smith will be ready for sure, Shannon resigned, and Regin and Foligno will sign their deals. Donovan is obviously gone so I guess Winchester would undeed be the guy that comes out.
If it came down to it though, I would rather have Kelly then Cullen for a lot of reasons. We'll see what happens though.

Except the Rangers of course. They signed him to his current deal and were so thrilled with him, they traded him into his first season there. I'd say the jury is still out on Cullen as far as re-signing with the Sens. Personally, I'd rather promote from within.

Kelly with 15 goals who plays an important role and one of the best Pkers in the league? What's your beef with him, I would love to hear it.

Big Ev wrote:Don't have a beef with Kelly, just feel he is expendable. You can find great penalty killers for less than $2 million, IMO.
