Then you have a completely different room as you lost about 25% of your staff. Who knows how long it'll take to rebuild chemistry. It was entertaining tho. What we should do is create that team in the sim and see if it wins

I was just showing what the team could look like next year and how we could afford it, theoretically. So they'd have have all of next season to rebuild chemistry and worry about repeating as Cup Champs!

even if brad is playing as well as he is this year the next, i don't think he's in for a raise. i could see him getting a 5.5-6 mill salary but not more.

what I find hilarious is that as soon as the Hodgson story came out about a rift between him and the Canucks, I immediately posted here a rumour I made up based on two things - the Canucks need to add a defenceman (like Kaberle) and that Cody would likely be traded to remedy/prevent any further rifts.

Cody Hodgson and the Canucks aren't seeing eye to eye. Cody has ill feelings towards Dave Gagner it would seem, and GM Mike Gillis does not seem happy with Cody.

This isn't about the trade deadline, but Jagr is definately coming back to the NHL. On DobberHockey, they suggest he could be a great linemate for Crosby. That would be insane!

Penguins absolutely fit the need for him, but the problem is he has to go through waivers (I think we talked about this before on the site). He had expressed interest in Edmonton because they were the last team that offered him a contract, but regardless, when he signs he has to go through waivers apparently and any team can pick him up.

Kaberle has agreed to waive his NTC, speculates Andy Strickland. That's one big fish for some team to land.

I would LOVE Kaberle. He would instantly make our power play problems go away.
