If he even wants a head coaching job anywhere. Don't forget he had heart issues in the playoffs last year.

Think he'll go straight into a HC position? I think it's more likely that he starts as an assistant somewhere.

It's certainly possible. Lots of guys have made the jump straight to the NHL from the AHL in recent years. See: Clouston, Cory.
how can prince make the jump and note Noeson and Pumpel?SpezDispenser wrote:Flo The Action wrote:has anyone compiled a projected line-up for Bingo next season? i'd like to have a look at what it could look like and who makes the jump from the minors.
Hard to do right now - if not impossible, but since I have a moment...
Petersson - Zibanejad - Stone
Hoffman - Da Costa - Prince
Schneider - Pageau - Grant
Hamilton - Dziurinski - veteran
Question marks:
Cannone
Caprousso
Cowick
Lessard
Really, really young lineup. Scary stuff.
Wiercioch - Gryba
Blood - Wideman
Schira - Claesson
I don't like Schira as much as I once did. I'd think about replacing him with a veteran too, but he'll do on the 3rd pairing I guess.
Lehner
Scrub
I'll say it again...young, young, young.

Good, that's the point of the AHL. They will still have some vets though.

Yes and no. You know how dangerous it is to have a roster full of kids in the pros. I hope they add a couple of killer vets into the bottom six, but my faith is a little low after last summer.

You're only allowed a certain number of older players. I think they're better off just giving spots to the true prospects. It doesn't matter if they win or lose.
