I see people did talk about it, briefly, in the Tidbits and Quickhits thread. Deserves a little more hype I think.

This could be really good for him I think. Get the butterflies out at the end of this season, and the kinks, work out hard and come to the development camp, and further add muscle to his big frame, and hopefully get some playoff time in. Then starting next year he'll be ready to go.

Hopefully, since he's more of a playmaker, he can learn or apprentice from Locke possibly. Might be getting ahead of myself a little bit, but with Keller's bit of grittiness, this could be a great opportunity for Grant. I'm very excited about this. He will most likely be a 3rd/4th liner for the rest of the year though.

I'm also becoming a huge Kleinendorst fan. He's work on the PP is tremendous. I think Bingo has many things to get excited about next year. And since The OSens will surely not make teh playoffs, our young guys will be able to go back down for some needed reinforcements, if the team in place can get them there.

And Borwiecki too??? This is good news. They could use some Defensive help.

Although with this influx, I still hope we manage to re-sign Kinrade, Smith, and hopefully one of Benoit and Hale.

Yeah Kleinendorst is a great teacher who apparently commands the respect of everyone there and insists that everyone work as hard as possible. A lot of people saying a lot of really good things about him.

As for Grant, his time to shine will be training camp next year IMO, he needs to get to 205 if possible (I've heard he's around 196 now), he's got a huge frame and needs to add some muscle before he begins having an impact. I think he's the ying to Greening's yang personally. I've tried to follow Grant as much as possible, but I still have limited knowledge. I know he likes to stand in front of goalies to screen them during the PP, then he filters off to the side to make plays when there's pressure, that should serve him well as a playmaking in Bingo this year, but as he adds mass, he'll be a bull next year I think.

I can't help really wanting to see Grant with Greening, with a sniper on the right - like Butler I guess. Greening can retrieve pucks, Grant can dish to either side, it would be a match made in heaven on paper, we'll see if they ever even play together though I guess.

Sens should be signing Caporusso soon as well I would imagine, it's about time for him too.

okay, bingo lost tonight to adirondack 5-2, which is the worst team in their division. They really need to snap out of it now, brust is looking ordinary now and they're giving away games

Wick with both goals....so go figure he gets called up

Now is Lehner's chance to shine?

I thought Lehner is out with back spasms.

Brust is looking like an AHL goaltender, not surprised because that's what he is. Hopefully Lehner can get in and take the ball and run with it if he's back starts to feel better.

I thought Brust was an ECHL goaltender that proved he's a good AHL goalie. Sarcasm

Brust played 2 bad games on a team missing 3 of its key players and all of a sudden he's a bust? OF course the best goalies in the NHL never have bad games Bingo Sens Talk - Page 23 484884

Those excuses never worked for any goalie associated with the Ottawa Senators. No reason for it to work now. ThumbsUp

This X 1000.

This guy is a league MVP candidate and also has a chance to be nominated for AHL goaltender of the year, let's cut him a little slack. He got a little over-worked, got a slight injury, had his team dismantled and sent to Ottawa and still kept it together until now.

He isn't a bust but I have never thought he was as good as he was playing. There is a reason why he signed an ECHL contract at 27 years old.
