Playing their 5th game in 6 days (yes, that is right) the Bingo Sens were humiliated at the hands of the Hershey Bears by a score of 9 - 0 (yes, that is also right). Jeff Glass started the game and allowed 7 goals off of 33 shots, after the first 2 periods of play. In the third, Elliott relieved him and allowed 2 goals off of 13 shots. This game was the 5th game in 6 days, so they must have been tired, and they were without their top two forwards (Shannon and Zubov) and without (arguably) their top defender in Brendan Bell. The sole player who wasn't a minus was Derek Smith, while the worst was Mattias Karlsson at a minus 5.
The other four games did not go very well either as Bingo one only half of them. In the 5 games, the Sens only mustered 10 goals, however they went goalless in their last two games, and they allowed 23 goals in those games.
Elliot got both wins, and stopped 107 of the 121 shots he faced; but was pulled in the second game halfway through the second period. Glass stopped 42 of the 51 shots he faced, in the 68 minutes he played.
Zubov had 1 goal and 3 assists in the 2 games he played. Zack Smith had 1G 3A a -2 and a fight. Bell had 2 G 2A and a -2.
This week they only play three games, unfortunately they are all on consecutive days (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).
