I would think he has a solid chance. He was their goalie for that summer thing, and played the back to back games vs the US. What's more is he got blown out in game 1, and they showed the confidence to put him into game 2.

In the least, he should get a chance to tryout, and there he should wow them.

If Wamsley, Coach KK and the Murrays feel the same, then something will be done to get Lehner more developmental time. As I've said, this has been a weird year and Brust has been awesome, so what to do? Lehner played well last game by all accounts, but to unseat Brust? Sounds like not the greatest idea IMO.

ECHL would be fine for a month or two.

Exactly. What he needs right now, more than anything else, is reps. Lot of starts to get back in a groove. Where that happens is almost secondary.

Bingo won again today. Andre Benoit scored in OT and Lehner was the winning goalie (funny that he faced off against 2010 stanley cup finalist Michael Leighton)

Keller was not officially announced as a recall though... odd.

so Bingo got whooped last night 8-3 against the 4th place team Norfolk...bad loss when you're chasing them for a playoff spot (lost 3 straight in regulation now, 2 straight to norfolk). They are now 6 pts behind norfolk for 4th in the East. I'm not sure if Bingo currently holds the last playøff spot or not.

With 8 goals scored against last night, Brust allowed 6 and was pulled for Mike Brodeur, which begs the question....where's lehner????

Lehner has a slight groin injury, or tweak or some sort and couldn't go yesterday, but I think he's day to day. Brust was due for a stinker, the B-Sens still hold a playoff spot because of the cross-over rule where they have a better record than the 4th place team in the other division or something.

A few big games coming up for the B-Sens - and I think they'll have Grant and possibly Borowiecki soon too, so they'll hopefully get some good efforts.

When did the Sens sign Derek Grant??? He played on friday night for Bingo!

Yesterday, and Mark Borowiecki was signed too.

I see people did talk about it, briefly, in the Tidbits and Quickhits thread. Deserves a little more hype I think.

This could be really good for him I think. Get the butterflies out at the end of this season, and the kinks, work out hard and come to the development camp, and further add muscle to his big frame, and hopefully get some playoff time in. Then starting next year he'll be ready to go.

Hopefully, since he's more of a playmaker, he can learn or apprentice from Locke possibly. Might be getting ahead of myself a little bit, but with Keller's bit of grittiness, this could be a great opportunity for Grant. I'm very excited about this. He will most likely be a 3rd/4th liner for the rest of the year though.

I'm also becoming a huge Kleinendorst fan. He's work on the PP is tremendous. I think Bingo has many things to get excited about next year. And since The OSens will surely not make teh playoffs, our young guys will be able to go back down for some needed reinforcements, if the team in place can get them there.

And Borwiecki too??? This is good news. They could use some Defensive help.

Although with this influx, I still hope we manage to re-sign Kinrade, Smith, and hopefully one of Benoit and Hale.
