Nature of the beast. Teams play 3 games in 3 or 4 nights every weekend, mistakes happen. Fact is they won their Division even though Hoffman is their leading scorer (and he's been up with the O-Sens for a while); and their second leading scorer missed 3 weeks after breaking his face. And they have a rookie goalie.

I think he got an assist too. Pretty damn good start to his pro career.

Elf ended up with the empty netter for a two goal game. Wonder if he'll ever make it to the bigs.

Ya, never was a big fan of trading pumpel. always saw him as a kid that would need a year or two more then others. looks like he could be another good top 6 for us.

I meant Dzingel, lol. But yeah, Puempel looks like he might be a legit NHL scorer in the very short future.

Dzingel is legit. He was in my top 10 before the year, now has moved up most likely.

Ian Sendes asked Luke Richardson if Puempel could crack the Ottawa lineup and Richardson hesitated then said "he's a year closer." Interesting response.

That's fair. He's not close yet in any aspect other than scoring.

There are a lot of bingo streams for one and two Richardson has hinted as much a few times. Said he was the best player at lower levels, bug he realizes how much he has to learn at the pro level - something to that effect.

When?

I just told you, there was an interview where he said there were things that he had to learn at the pro level. Nothing wrong with him, just that he had to learn things. It may have been on 1200, not sure.
