I just told you, there was an interview where he said there were things that he had to learn at the pro level. Nothing wrong with him, just that he had to learn things. It may have been on 1200, not sure.

I guess you have to read between the lines. All I have is a direct quote from today's radio programme.

I guess. Again, I don't think it's anything strange for a kid in the pros to have a lot of work to do defensively. I think we all knew he'd be another year after this minimum unless he gets a chance and runs with it next year.

Although apparently Richardson and him have long video sessions and he's put him with the checking line for extended periods to help him learn, so maybe he's taken the next step, but I think that's another season away personally.

They stream bingo games? How can the church afford it?

It's usually a pretty bad feed from a fan, but it does the trick.

Haven't watched one bingo game this year

It'd be nice if stupid Sportsnet made themselves useful for once and actually carried some AHL playoff games. I'd happily watch Bingo.

He is a year closer.  No reason to rush him into the NHL on a team still trying to find an identity.  Can't ask a highly skilled player like Peumpel to fill a role on a team yet find itself and how they will play each night.  Peumpel has 1 year under his belt, that's it.

I would doubt Puempel starts the year with the big club, but that's not to say he doesn't pull a Ceci.

Assuming Spezza is moved and Hemsky tests the market, and I don't know if they want to (or can afford to) sign Michalek, we could have a top-six of:
MacArthur-Turris-Ryan, then Zibanejad, Stone, Lazar. Yikes. That's a good third line, right there. We just don't have a second line. And, no, Puemple won't make that any better, but they may need him regardless.
