Ian Sendes asked Luke Richardson if Puempel could crack the Ottawa lineup and Richardson hesitated then said "he's a year closer." Interesting response.

He is a year closer.  No reason to rush him into the NHL on a team still trying to find an identity.  Can't ask a highly skilled player like Peumpel to fill a role on a team yet find itself and how they will play each night.  Peumpel has 1 year under his belt, that's it.

I would doubt Puempel starts the year with the big club, but that's not to say he doesn't pull a Ceci.

Assuming Spezza is moved and Hemsky tests the market, and I don't know if they want to (or can afford to) sign Michalek, we could have a top-six of:
MacArthur-Turris-Ryan, then Zibanejad, Stone, Lazar. Yikes. That's a good third line, right there. We just don't have a second line. And, no, Puemple won't make that any better, but they may need him regardless.

Good matchup with the Pens in the middle of a playoff race in the NHL too.

I think we all assume that the Sens will be bringing in at least one top six forward via trade or free agency.

Back on topic here, is there a legitimate way to watch the AHL games? Can I buy individual games via their website or something? I guess I could look this up myself.

That would be too much to ask, wouldn't it?

So you can pay $45 to get all of Bingo's playoff games through "AHL Live" or $10 for individual games. That's a big fat NOPE.

Are they high? That's the second half of an NHL season + the playoffs on NHL gamecenter  Laugh1

They do carry Marlie games...

Someone mentioned a stream for the BSens. I've been looking for some time for one. I used to use BSenshockeylive.. but that doesn't work anymore.

I assume TSN1200 will carry the game on the radio... I enjoy listening to Grady Whittenberg..

Solid play-by-play man for sure.

No idea if this link will work or not. Upstream streams typically don't work until the event starts.

Yeah, apparently TSN 1200 will have the playoff games. I agree, Grady is a really good play-by-play guy to listen to.

Grady is an amazing play by play man, so much enthusiasm in his calls.

I really enjoyed listening to him back in the Calder Cup run. He does have a bit of a nasal tone. A breathe-right strip is probably all that's holding him back from a bigger audience.
