Yeah, I think that's all that got assigned. Hoffman needs waivers so he won't be risked there. Is Da Costa still injured down there? They have a pretty tight group down there this year... hopefully they can make a nice deep run at the Cup.

Sucks that Hoffman won't be part of that. He'll be missed for sure.

I think we have too many players in Bingo lol. Good players are gonna get scratched.

Bingo and the Penguins have identical records (42-24-3-5) to lead their Division. Bingo is ahead on goal differential, I guess. Winning the Division gets you a 3rd seed (they can't catch Manchester or Springfield). Hoffman is their leading scorer still, and has quite a lead (over Da Costa). Too bad he's not eligible -- stupid rules, really stupid. If they win the Calder Cup he's getting his ring for sure, just can't play for it. Did I mention the rules are stupid?

Anyhow, Bingo plays WBS tomorrow night (at home). They need to win that game because the last game in their last game of the season WBS has a much easier match up than Bingo.

It's over, the B-Sens clinch 1st place in the Division and the 3rd seed in the playoffs. Hammond with his 25th win (the most by a Bingo rookie in nearly a decade).

Bingo was outshot 26-7 in the third. Hammond ended up with 43 saves on the night. But a win's a win. When you build up a 4-0 and 5-1 leads I guess it's easy to take your foot off the gas pedal. Hopefully they'll remember this in case they have any more "easy" games in the playoffs.

Nature of the beast. Teams play 3 games in 3 or 4 nights every weekend, mistakes happen. Fact is they won their Division even though Hoffman is their leading scorer (and he's been up with the O-Sens for a while); and their second leading scorer missed 3 weeks after breaking his face. And they have a rookie goalie.
