No ideas about the suggested Lee/Kelly package that Denny pitched?

Personally, that's not a package I'd put together. I don't want to deal Lee just for the sake of getting rid of Kelly, and I think he would get a better return on his own than with Kelly.

"LOL" is used too much to have much meaning anymore, but I just laughed out loud and hysterically. There is a good chance some of the Korean families in my building are wondering what the foreigner is doing.

According the Sens Chirp, it looks like the most likely candidate to be traded is Shean Donovan. I really don't see the point of trading a guy that gets 625k and pretty well earns every penny. (relatively speaking)

Chris Kelly, on the other hand, seems likely to stay. If there are teams interested and he doesn't get moved it would be just plain ridiculous to hang on to him.

Schubert to be waived though seems to be certainty, if it comes down to numbers though and Kelly can't be moved, Donovan will be a casualty of war since he has some value, his value doesn't outweigh having Regin on our roster for the regular season.

I really hope Schubert goes Donavan stays... but inside sources relatives of the GM say Donavan is the odd man out... This is the second time I've heard (second hand) from the GM about his plans.. happened also with Heatley.

Truth is Donovan has been playing on the fifth line two camps in a row. I think he is a great guy in the room and has good speed but he has some of the worst hands in the league. I think he is likely done. Murray is trying to find soft landing spots for him and Schubert but it is coming to the point where they will likely be discarded as there is no interest,

I could seriously see Kelly go too because his stock has plummeted worse than anyone on the team. He never had any speed and now he is really getting exposed without a quick winger. He could become a train wreck pretty fast.

other than Ruutu that is, however, I don't want to part with Ruutu, I like his game.

For what Ruutu brings I think he's a bargain so it makes little sense to get rid of that element on the team only to have to address it again later and for a similiar cap hit.

Love Ruutu and what h brings as well. His goals in the shootouts could be the difference between home ice or not, even the playoffs and missing out with some bad luck. Very valuable player IMO and at 1.3, meh, w/e.

1.3 I feel is a bargain for this guy, and we have him for 2 more years I believe, he is one of those guys too you hate to play against, but love to have him on your team. That agitation factor is priceless sometimes.

Lets be honest. We need to dump Kelly and Schubert... if we can do that we'll be golden
