Diddle it's SJ's 6th round pick I think. Laughing3 God, we couldn't get anything for Auld obviously.

Glass actually had a pretty solid end to the season by all accounts. I hope for his sake he can put together a good season, otherwise he is done as an AHL goaltender.

Meh, we gave up our 6th rounder at the draft, this is about all I expected. Hopefully Schubert can get a 7th.

For sure, an announcement on Elliott can't be far behind.

I'd love to get Elliott at like $600-700,000 on a 1-way. That would be perfect.

Yeah it would be, save 300-400 k on a better goaltender with tons of potential. Added a 6th rounder too, solid.

I thought there was a league minimum?

So $600,000 is very possible then.

I think he deserves a bit more than absolute league minimum though.

I agree.

I'm guessing Schuberts days are numbered here as well eh?

for sure there was a mess in front of elliot last season and for sure i'm happy we get something back for auld but i'll FingersCrossed that leclaire isnb't hurt. cuz then we have to go thru this again.
what is a reasonable amount of time we should wait till lehner makes it to the AHL?
also elliots salary last year was at 900,000 or something, how can he get less then that in a new deal? scratch

Because it will be 1-way. Big difference. Guaranteed salary.

I could see him signing for as high as $750K.

For Lehner, we could be talking years. Like, 2 years to get to the AHL, another 2 to get to the NHL, and another 2 before we can talk about him as a starter. And that's being optimistic.

Young star goalies like Steve Mason are super rare. Just look at Price struggling, and he had a fine pedigree.

I would expect him in Ottawa when he is about 21, 22 years old.
