Then he said that he could also see the Sens wanting more youth - and said that Gilbert, Cogliano and Gagner would be the price (told you).

So we're starting to get a feel for the market value of this tool.

Where did you hear that from? I saw it on HF but there was no link posted as proof he stated it.

Check the Team 1260's archives, it was on 7:30 Pacific time.

Thanks, I'll check into it. I've got to say that of the various radio sports shows that I have listen to Gregor on Team 1260 has the best show. I am certain this will be talked about at great lengths through out the week.

Definitely a big move for him to have B-Mac on and to have B-Mac give an educated guess as to what the Sens will be looking for from Edmonton.

Got a lot of people talking.

Something to think about in all this, not sure if it was mentioned, but why was Clouston saying Heatley was having issues with "his system" to the public? I saw a clip of that this morning, not sure when it was from, but that kind of stuff should be kept behind doors methinks...

At any rate... we're here. Hopefully BM gets a nice deal done quickly before this all gets out of hand.

Gregor is on from 3 to 6 and is great. His show is just a game. For those back east it will be on in 25 minutes.

Remember, that was during the season. He wanted him to conform - be a 2-way player, move his feet. What's the use of a goal scorer who's useless as tatas on a bowl at defense?

Gonna give up more goals than you score. Shrug

I hear ya, but it's one thing for a coach to call a player out saying he needs him to step up and what not, it's a whole other thing (at least to me it is) to say he's having trouble with the system etc... it's almost demeaning.

He was nice enough about it though, he said Heatley was on his way. They were definitely having problems at that point though. Clouston probably saw him as the spoiled Wing Dang Doodle he is.

good on Clouston then for noticing what Paddock, Hartsburg, and even Murray himself ignored.

I second that personally. We've had enough of lazy arse players. Finally a coach does something about it - and look what happens. The player Dung his pants and demands a trade.

Facepalm

You are pathetic Heatley.

I just read Don Brennan's blog and found it to be a pretty good read. He's right, Heatley is just as selfish as Yashin was.

Agreed... Clouston will be so good for us and he'll weed out the pussy's and allow BM to deal with them appropriately.

good comparison by Brennan, now we will be sticking a team with him just like we did the Islanders, can you imagine if we got the same type of return and actually held onto all of it?

Lets hope this is Yashin version 2 and we can get 2 or 3 players that will make this organization the cream of the crop again.

Heatley is worse than Yashin by a mile! Yashin was a 24 year old getting bad advice! Heatley is a 28 year old not following it!

Yashin was nieve, Heatley is an a**hole.

Yep, and I expect that he will get the same treatment from Ottawa fans that Yashin got after he left. He fully deserves it for this.

What a piece of s**t Dany Heatley is!!!!
