That is a bonafide lineup of youth right there. With the mix of roster players we have right now AND the prospect pool we're starting to develop...I'm starting to feel warm inside at the idea of the whole thing.

Cogliano and their 10th maybe...I highly doubt they deal Cogs...I know, we're talking about a former 50 goal scorer but Cogliano is already very good with lots of potential. Swap gagner for cogs in your deal.

I didn't get that from the conversation. Stacey indicated that Kypreos was "100% right" in his discussion with John Garrett last night and that Garrett was "100% wrong". The position Garrett took was that he may not want to be in another pressure cooker or even in Canada. Kypreos was of the opinion that Heater wouldn't mind a trade to another Canadian city.

Quinn also plays favorites to his star players.

I just heard about this whole Heatley thing, yep, it seems I have been living in a medialess cloud for a few days.

What a suckarse! Signs a big money deal and then wants to bolt cause Clouston is holding him accountable. My stock in Heatley just dropped like a lead turd.

But it also represents a major opportunity, so kind of kudos to Heatley for opening up that door for the Sens. With his salary off the books, they can now spend some money on a premier defenceman, and really balance their roster, cap wise.

What effect will this have on his Donkey-pal Jason Spezza I wonder. And does that means that even if there were plans to move Spezza, do they get shelved permanently?

BM could get it if the bidding war ignites though, he can play teams against each other and Edmonton rather have Heatley over Jagr.

I know it's a lot, but you pay for what you (think) you get. Perhaps Gilbert, Gagner and their 1st would be more acceptable?

Thats more likely. I think Cogliano is the guy I would rather have, but I would also throw Eberle in there as the prospect.

Gagne, Eberele, Gilbert, 10th overall for LEe and Heatley. That's how I would see it getting done.

Yeah, he sounded a little green... I was surprised at the details he gave with regards to concerns... he should have stayed away from that stuff and been vague.
