I still think there's a hell of a deal to be made with Edmonton. We should be able to get Cogliano, Gilbert, Eberle and their 10th overall.

In one trade we could add those three guys plus two of OEL, Kulikov, Kadri, Kassian, or Schroeder.

That is a bonafide lineup of youth right there. With the mix of roster players we have right now AND the prospect pool we're starting to develop...I'm starting to feel warm inside at the idea of the whole thing.

we wouldn't see any indication yet because Heatley just came on the market, SJ might move mountains to get Heatley if they think he can get them anywhere in the playoffs.

Ya but honestly, I don't see Wilson taking on another big name player that underperforms in the playoffs, all the while losing 1 or 2 players that actually come to play in the playoffs. I do love the deal though...always been a huge fan of Michalek...one of the better two way players in the game.

I would not be dissapointed with that in the least.

LA and Edmonton will work against each other and benifit the Sens.

Diddle the last post of mine didn't go through. Kyprios tells MaAcpline to look out, Murray won't trade for the sake of a trade. This could be a long wait.

Heater's agent is on Hockeycentral at noon and is saying this goes beyond just ice time and Clouston. Seems he's had concerns from before Clouston even arrived.

They approached BM two weeks ago and made it "official" a week ago with a written request.

They suggest that Heatley might not be able to take the pressure of a Canadian market - and suggest that he should be moved to a non-hockey market.
