God, he can't even stop hating on them even when they are playing for Canada and still winning this game.

Yeah I wouldn't be surprised at all. This team is incredibly underwhelming...

I guess thats what happens when you trust Heatley and Spezza to lead your team Facepalm

Ahhhhh!

Roy, Spezza, and Heatley are literally on for the entire PP almost every time. Talk about pading the stats. That line has actually been awful 5 on 5 in the tourny.

That line doesn't work at all... Pretty much any line Spezza's on that doesn't have Alfredsson is useless... One combination I think they should consider is putting Heatley on the line with Stamkos and St Louis. Doan simply doesn't fit there. They should go with lines that look more like this Imo:

Heatley-StLouis-Stamkos
Zajac-Spezza-Upshall
Doan-Fisher/Horcoff-Roy
Armstrong-Fisher/Horcoff-Lombardi

Either way, trying to fit Roy into that Spezza-Heatley line is a waste of time Imo.

I didnt even bring it up! They are also playing LAtvia. They have played 2 decent teams and lost to one. They cant play countries with 1 indoor rink every game.

Also, how is it hating by saying they have been awful even strength (when they have) and saying they are on for the entire PP against lesser countries (when they are) hating? Explain...

Canada bettr play way better than this or they wont win, end of story.

That is a thin lineup.

Every player is in the NHL on that lineup and you're calling it thin? Thats the deepest lineup in the tournament, player for player.

It is, but for Canada its razor thin...

I agree, but going to this tournament there should never be an excuse for not winning unless Russia is staked with NHLers as well.

That is a goal our tender shouldn't let in.

So PKC, why should I not be hating at this point?

the lineup in 2010 will be better by Canada standards, but so will the others.

No way that can be blamed on any of Heatley or Spezza. The goalie played that PATHETICALLY. It was embarassing to see that go in.
