Why do you think I was looking for feeds on-line? Razz

Haha. I guess I thought you were looking on my behalf. Nevermind then, Mr. Selfish! Razz

Colorado defeats Washington 4-1.

Ovechkin's 10 game point streak snapped in the process (according to TSN).

Foote gets his first goal since 2007.

Corvo scores two goals on 5-on-3s 39 seconds apart as Carolina defeats Tampa.

Great news per Andy Strickland of HB as Erik Johnson has begun skating again.

He won't return until 2009-2010 though.

Well, Wiercioch was definitely disappointing tonight, he only had one assist which was on the OT winning goal.

Caporusso had 3 assists tonight, he's justifying his Hobey Baker nomination nicely.

As far as Junior Hockey goes, Tavares had 2 goals and an assist for London but nobody's stopping the Pavel Bure Taylor Hall-led Spitfires, who win 6-3.

What a bust. Razz

I can only go from what others said about him in terms of this game, but most viewers were blown away by how big he looked on the blue-line. Wiercioch is easily in the 6'4-6'5 range.

Couple that with his enormous shot and are we developing another Souray?

Hall also plays with an edge that Bure never did. Hall isn't afraid to rough it up in the corners, and play physical.

One could even go as far to say he's dirty.

That hit he made on Tavares to knock him out of the game was amazing. And yeah, his work ethic in the corners is awesome.

I think he's only 6'4" but what I love is the latest report saying he's over 200 lbs. Last I'd heard before that was 178, I think. If he's really put on close to 25 lbs since last year I am very impressed. Doesn't sound like it's slowed him down or thrown off his timing. Another 15 lbs this off season and he'll be NHL-ready in the size department. Anyone know if he intends to finish his degree or come up to Bingo next year? Could he finish his degree by correspondence?

Souray? Is that the player that comes to mind for you?

I was seriously thinking (now - I understand the stretch to compare him at this point) to a Bouwmeester style player.

Wiercioch is definetly mor like a Jbo or Dennis WIdeman type of player.

I like that Murray acquired Campoli. GIves Wiercioch at least 2 more years to develop properly. NO need to rush the kid, I am ready to wait for 3-4 full years of COllege if he comes here to become Jbo 2.0.

I posted a link in another thread. It was from an interview dated just a few days ago.
