We have 20. I checked. It's a long shot...but I think our 7 guys can catch Green. :lol!:

That's an NHL record and 22 goals on the season now (and he missed 13 games).

I saw. I'm trying to think of a way to express to my wife so she'll properly understand how ridiculous this is. Do we even have half of Green's goal total from our entire D? I'm not sure I even want to look and see Sad

Mike Green leads the league in points since the all-star break, I believe.

It wouldn't surprise me. Ovechkin has started to catch the league leaders from Pittsburgh also. Semin has 3 points tonight too :x

We've been on this slide since the Detroit game last season IMO.

I think we are worse this year. It's rare that the boys put it all together for 60. The lack of talent, coupled with some lazy efforts make for alot of really unwatchable hockey. Especially on nights when there are other premier matchups on.

Ah well, back to the losing ways....which should make you and I happy, even if we are the only ones lol.

The others will have to just accept the losing. Razz

^Well I sure was proven wrong.

Anyway, Leafs keep ahead of us by beating the Penguins (who were up 2-0) 6-2 tonight.

How Therrien still has his job, I'm not sure.

Tampa Bay moves back into third-last.

Viktor Tikhonov Jr. is a joy to watch. He is one of the best skaters i have ever seen, and he has excellent vision on the ice.

Wojtek Wolski is another really unheralded guy.

In Boston's loss, Legwand scored two goals (including a shortie) in regulation then won it with a shootout goal. You think he was first star? 8)

So Brodeur practiced with the Devils yesterday.

Here are Clemmenson's numbers:
GP W L T SO GA EG SA PCT GAA
37 24 11 1 2 81 5 1040 .922 2.23

What do the Devils do now? See if there are trade options for Clemmenson (Philly and Detroit might be interested)?

Or trade Brodeur for Lidstrom? Wink

If Brodure goes down, you want Clemmenson there, you do not trade him! Clemmenson has stepped in like a good backup should be able to do. Just like I would trade Auld here in Ottawa. Perfect backups in my opinion.

^Wouldn't, I assume you mean.

I agree, but it'd be a nice chip to try to fill some holes. For the first time in a while, it's a relatively no-name defence (although it seems to be doing the job) and the offence is incredibly deep.

Paul Martin is prob the most under rated That guy does his job so quietly it's incredible. Great 1st pass, great in his own zone, and can put up some points. Obviously he is a bit of a product of the system, but I'll take a Paul Martin on my team anyday. Just solid.

NJ's D is under rated as wierd as that is to say.

Yeah, Martin is good, White is pretty good but after that?

Greene, Leach, Mottau, Oduya, Salvador?

IMO more than anything the Devils could use a JayBo-type guy.

If you deal Clemmenson to Philly you could get back assets to bring him in.

If you're NJ, why would you send him to a team that you may very well play in the 1st or 2nd round? That is literally digging your own grave.

I think NJ is fine, if it's not broke, dont fix it.

I can't believe Tikhonov went undrafted twice, before phoenix picked him up...hindsight is 20/20

What?

Shouldn't they be in Nashville?
