Maybe he cares, which is why it doesn't look familiar to us Senator fans.

BM was just reminding JR he owed him one for the royal screwing he took last year in fleecing us on Eaves and Corvo.

How was that a royal screwing, seriously? What has Eaves or Corvo done in Carolina? Murray brought in players he thought could turn it around, and STillman played well. He didnt give up a prospect, or a pick to bring in 2 proven winners.

People who think Murray got fleeced on that are out of it.

Commodore went and signed for an overinflated salary (my opinion), Stillman I liked, but again, priced himself out of our range, this is a case of addition by subtraction, Corvo didn't want to be here, didn't like the media, Eaves, well, he was always injured, so those two being gone doesn't hurt us.

Thats exatly it, that trade didnt turn Carolina into a playoff team, and it didnt turn us into something that wasnt happening anyways.

Stillman would be nice to have though,

Corvo has 50 points in his first full season in Carolina. I like that personally.

wow, i'll for once agree with N4L. i don't thinkk that was a bad trade. corvo wasn't happy therefore needed to be on the move and eaves... 3 goals this season says it all.
i wish we could of re-signed stillman. him and vermette would of been nice with Comrie eh?

We lost our best PMD and a decent RW prospect in Eaves for two players that walked. Commodore sucked and Stillman left.

Corvo doesnt make a team better though and is one of the biggest head cases in the league. Cant stand him, but is prob bi-polar.

lol, ya, Eaves 3 goals is tough to replace... oh wait, we have WInchester.

Corvo, who cares, seriously, he is a PP specialist, thats it. Has a cannon of a shot and is as dumb as the day is long. Corvo is what Ottawa doesnt need.

He's a tool for sure, but when he's on the ice, he's a threat as a puck-rusher. I miss that, that's all. I'd still do that exact trade 1000 times over.

For sure I would make that trade again. Seriously though, I've never seen Corvo go end to end, really lead the rush. He isnt smart enough to be a good hockey player, the guy is actually dumb.

he has had a few mental lapses in his own end, therefore the dubbing of uh-oh corvo, maybe that was a media fabrication though, ottawa media are horrible, and yes, I mean you buffet table Garrioch.

Those mental lapses were epic though. Like - a giveaway right in front of his net leading to a winning goal.

Meh...what can you say...I liked him here, but he didn't want to be here, so out you go. We'll move on. Looks like Campoli is very similar anyway.

He never pulled a McCabe though, queue the highlights of the OT puck in his own net against Buffalo footage, that was a classic McCabe Leaf moment, I will never forget it.

Campoli seems to be happy, he is a bargain, 24, and sure the -20 was there, but it was the Islanders.
