Sens can go up 2-0 if they stick to their game. Anderson will have to be good, but the neutral zone trap has been effective so far. Go Sens.

No lineup changes expected for Ottawa. Don't think we'll see Murray for Pittsburgh,  as Fleury was pretty good.  Wouldn't be surprised,  though,  to see some changes elsewhere.

What do you mean by "won home ice"?

If the road team splits the first two games, then it becomes a best of five, with the road team now holding the home ice advantage. Winning that first game guarantees the split (or better), so the Sens won home ice advantage.

An exact replica of last game is in order. Bore people to sleep at the PPG place or whatever it's called, then opportunistic offense. And above all....Andy. Ohnoes!

We need to generate more shots on net. Fleury' snot being tested enough. Looks like we keep looking for the fancy plays again and not trying for enough garbage goals.

Anderson wasn't good enough on the goal

Not a good third but that goal was stinky.

That was such a winnable game... urghhh.
Im afraid the pens are just gonna get harder to play against as this series drags on.

Sens are in the drivers seat. Penguin was outplayed them considerably in the second half and they only scored one goal. They didn't get many dangerous chances

Yeah but he was great all game. At one point the team had to also score. We got what 3 shots on goal in the 3rd? With all of them in the final minutes?

Not good enough

Yeah but you could see that they were starting to figure it out by the third. If they approach the games that way, we'll be in Dung.

I don't see it, people said the exact same thing about the rangers. Sens have all the matchups at home and will come out flying.

Agreed. Sens have home ice advantage now and can get the favorable matchups. They definitely can't afford to sit back in the third, like they did tonight, almost hoping to just get to OT though.  This Pens team is very beatable.

I think they are very beatable too but I think this team is is still playing to avoid mistakes more than creating enough chances or on the PP trying for the perfect play

I would agree with you but, only regarding the game last night and mostly regarding the 3rd period. If they come out like that at home you might have reason to be concerned. I don't see it though.
