Injuries, fatigue (Kessel, of course) and no loser points. Montreal is 1-4 in their last 5 openers (all against Toronto). They aren't going to go 1-5, are they?

P.S. Can we refer to Kessel and Phaneuf as "Tits and Giggles"?

Sam Bennett has a bad shoulder injury (apparently he didn't disclose it to trainers and probably made it worse). They didn't say he was headed for surgery but it was strongly implied that it might happen. He's likely to miss a year of development (no NHL callup, no World Juniors).
