Not saying they are sitting him out for a trade but they are sitting him out to make sure he is 100% healthy and IMO to get a look at what the blueline looks like without him.

I don't know for sure that this is the case, but it wouldn't surprise me if this was a factor.

i can't see us resigning Phillips this summer unless they plan on making space elsewhere on the blueline. right now you have to maximize your assets. you can get a late first or a couple of seconds(jeez that would be fantastic) for phillips you don't even think about it.

I know it's been said that it would be nice for him to retire a sens but with the kind of play he's been playing and the fact he's gonna try and play probably another 3 years it doesn't make sens. it's not like his jersey is getting retired or something. they might name a section of the parking lot after him.

I doubt he is out of shape. He was above average at camp.

Things that bug me are when Karlsson goes end to end, gets the zone and then we cough it up, can't hold it in or get any serious pressure. Drive me nuts.
