Not saying you have to believe what I say but to outright dismiss what I say is pretty much ignoring what I have said in the past and it does becomes common knowledge. IE Emery, McGratton, now Karlsson, etc, etc.

The Karlsson one, at least a ton of people have been saying it.

The Spezza one, haven't heard a thing.

Because the Spezza one was seen by a few people (like 25-30) just like seeing McGratton on coke and E (kokanee) was. Doesn't get out because nothing can really be proven and it isn't that glamorous.

Media LOVES scandals. Why the hell did Tiger woods story take off? Why wouldn't any of those 'witnesses' want to make it big with a story as juicy as a star athlete cheats on his wife, bangs broad in public? You sure it wasn't Matt Spezza?

Yeah you're right, i definitely haven't been around hockey players. Not sure though why that line of thinking blows your mind....does that kind of behavior sound normal in anyway shape or form? I mean I've heard of ppl cheating, but to do it in that fashion is beyond dumb.

I would agree, media would have a field day if Spezza was Cussing around - especially in Ottawa.

Steve Simmonds was telling a story about how he overheard (among many other stories) about how a player had to go back and tell his wife he had contracted herpes from some girl... the media doesn't run with that crap because it benefits no one. Sports media isn't a tabloid and people need to realize that.

What good does it do anyone?  Why would local media or Ottawa media in general EVER put out a story about a cheating husband? lol.  Seriously use some common sense here. The media shares planes and other transports with players, there is a trust there.
