Via Bobby Mac:

"Jonathan Huberdeau not in lineup for Team Canada as he's suspended in QMJHL until after tonight's Saint John game. Eligible to return then. "

Canada loses to Finland 3-2 in their first pre-competition match. Canada showing some frustration near the end taking a few penalties to close out the game. Undisciplined play for Canada throughout the game. Not a great start.

Go team Russia! I'll be wearing my jersey proudly. Got no-one to root for on the Canuck team. Here's hoping for a Sweden-Russia finals. Is that the only Sens prospect in the tourney (Wikstrand)?

A year ago Sens prospects scored five on opening day and a Sens prospect scored the last goal, too:

This year?

Gonna be hard to follow any games for real with the time difference. I'll be surprised if I catch any of them live. Will most likely watch the replay on TSN during the day.

Thanks for clearing that up. I was wondering why the sky was falling and the end of the world was ahead of schedule. Ahhhhh!
