Not surprised, Rundblad out I assume. That boy needs to get his head screwed on straight.

When you have more players than roster spots on 1-way deals, and even guys waiting in the AHL, every player should have to play to earn their spot. Obviously some guys will get their spot regardless (Phillips, Gonchar, Spezza, Alfredsson, Michalek) but the rookies and other guys have to play well or they will sit.
